Hope is not a strategy

Let me take you back to 2021.

I was a Virtual Assistant with big dreams and a tired heart.

I was good at what I did — efficient, detail-oriented, reliable — but still broke.
My income hovered between ₦50k–₦80k per client, when I was lucky enough to land one.
At the end of the month, I’d pull in about ₦150k.
And my annual income? Barely hit ₦1 million.

I wish I could say I had a smart strategy.
But if I’m being honest, all I had was hope.

I started building a business.

  Instead of chasing 10 new clients, I kept 3 that kept coming back.

• I used content as a silent funnel.
  I documented what I was doing — even the small wins.
  I showed behind-the-scenes. I shared results.
  Before I ever sent a DM, people already knew I was good.

• I created tiered, value-packed offers.
  No more one-off “I just need this” tasks.
  I bundled my services into real packages clients could trust.

  I offered the Inbox Hero Package:
  Full cleanup, template creation, and 30-day monitoring.
  More value. More money. Less stress.

From there, everything shifted.

✅ I stopped being “just a VA” and became a strategic partner.
✅ I went from ₦150k/month to 7-figures in Naira and 5-figures in dollars.
✅ And most importantly — I finally felt proud to call my Virtual Assistant career a business and see it as something solid that I’m building.
